Kennebec Banks Paint Party
This event is open to individuals of all ages! Participants should wear old clothing as the paint we will be using is oil-based, bring gloves, and if they have them, step-ladders. All participants should expect to sign a waiver upon arrival.

Volunteers will either support construction of a subfloor for the stewardship work space or move, split (gas wood splitter), and stack wood to support the Somerset Woods Share firewood bank.

This volunteer event is intended for anyone wanting to engage with a simple construction project. This is a great opportunity for beginners, or someone who just likes to build things. We have space for 6 participants.

We are improving habitat for grassland birds in partnership with Ag Allies, Maine’s grassland bird conservation program. Join us for an afternoon of cutting back hedgerows and burning brush.
