This workday is hosted by Rachel Cheatham-McFadden and Emma Hovencamp; it will take place in the barn at Parkman Hill Farm. Volunteers will either support construction of a subfloor and/or bench for the stewardship work space or move, split (gas wood splitter), and stack wood to support Somerset Woods Share, our community woodbank.

This volunteer event is best suited for adults. No dogs, please.

Somerset Woods Trustees will provide wood and materials needed for construction projects. Participants will need to bring work gloves, close toed shoes, and wear long pants. The barn is chilly, so participants should bring layers and perhaps a thermos with a warm drink! All participants should expect to sign a waiver upon arrival.
