July 26: We’re building Leopold Benches! These simply designed benches honor conservationist Aldo Leopold and offer a functional usefulness not provided by many benches. By sitting backwards with legs through the opening, the backrest now provides a sturdy support for the elbows while using binoculars or cameras to observe nature around you.

Join us from 10 to Noon every Friday for a volunteer project, then enjoy your lunch with fellow volunteers and staff. Bring your own bag lunch - we’ll provide the cold drinks.
