AYDEN GRIMM, PARKMAN HILL FARM INTERN

Ayden is a rising senior at College of the Atlantic where he studies botany and ecology with an emphasis on conservation and restoration. He is from Portland and grew up hiking, climbing, and adventuring throughout the forests and beaches in Maine. Ayden is extremely passionate about spending time in nature, hiking, biking, backpacking, and whatever other activities might take him outside while also trying to help maintain and improve its ecological health. He is an even bigger plant nerd, and he loves to learn about the history of land and land use in different areas. Ayden is returning for his second summer with the Somerset Woods Trustee as the intern in charge of taking care of the new Parkman Hill Farm. In 2023, he served as Somerset Woods’ Rockefeller Conservation Intern, with a focus on invasive plants management.
