Conservation and Awards Celebration August 20th at Canaan Farmer's Hall from 6 to 8 PM

Celebrate the beauty of Somerset County with SWT and win a chance to name our yellow trail at Philbrick Preserve!

We have a great night of speakers and awards planned along with sampling of cheeses from Crooked Face Creamery paired with local bread, wine, beer and other beverages.

Our keynote speaker is Tom Abello, Director of External Affairs, The Nature Conservancy

Join with us to honor four great friends of SWT with the following awards:

Conservation: Clinton “Bill” Townsend and Will Reid

Stewardship: Patty Van Horn and Jeff McCabe

And a special award for this year: Announcing the Roger Poulin Trail at Coburn Woods.

At the end of the evening we will draw from our "hat" the name of the lucky winner of our "Name the Yellow Trail at Philbrick Preserve" naming opportunity! Here's your chance to name a trail in honor of or in memory of a person or a place or event or just a fun name!

The celebration starts at 6 PM and ends at 8 PM. Canaan Farmer's Hall.
You are our guests; there is no charge! Just write Nancy at somersetwoodstrustees@gmail.com with your RSVP and be sure to fill in a card at the entrance table at the event for your chance to win the trail naming opportunity.
